This site is for the purpose of dating and authentication free to the public works by the artist Walter Quirt.
Walter Quirt (1902 - 1968) was an American social surrealist, whose paintings combined surreal iconic symbols with the social distress that was created by the Great Depression. We are buying all periods of his work, especially the 1930"s works. Each transaction is [private} and will be fair and confidential. The Equesce Foundation has acquired a database of titles, as well as exhibition check lists, which is used in authentication of works by Walter Quirt. We also have acquired a database of signatures, which can be used to date paintings and drawings. We offer the service of dating and authentication free to the public. The foundation’s collection of Quirts represents the largest single owner collection in the world outside of Quirt family
